IGAM MALALA FUND TEAM PROMOTES MALALA FUND AND ASSEMBLY IN COMMUNITY PROJECT OF BILKENT SECONDARY SCHOOL

Malala Fund, which supports girls’ education all over the world, became part of the ‘Community Project’ course of Bilkent Secondary School, one of the well-known prestigious private school in Ankara, Turkey.
On September 26, 2019 Malala Project representatives, on Ankara's and teachers has organized an awareness raising session for Bilkent Secondary School eight grade pupils and teachers. Around a total of 120 pupils and teachers participated in the session which was organized to increase the sensitivity towards refugee girls’ education in the host society.
In the session, which attracted great interest from pupils, ASSEMBLY, Malala's digital magazine, was also introduced. In addition to this introduction, pupils were requested to contribute to Assembly by responding through different means of reflections such as posters, paintings and letters. Thus, IGAM Malala Project and Assembly became part of the ‘Community Project’ courses of Bilkent Secondary School students.
As IGAM Malala Fund Team, we would like to thank Bilkent Secondary School's sensitive students, teachers and administrators for hosting us in their school and participating in our efforts for better education for girls and looking forward to their reflections for Assembly.
